Is Luck on Your Side?

We often hear people say, “They’re just lucky.” Lucky relationships. Lucky careers. Lucky timing. But what we don’t always see is what’s happening beneath the surface.

The truth is, not everything in life is outside of our control—though it can feel that way, especially during stressful or uncertain seasons. Mental and emotional well-being often begins with learning to separate what we can influence from what we cannot. Trying to control these things often leads to anxiety, frustration, and burnout. When we grip too tightly to what we can’t change, we lose energy that could be used elsewhere.

Letting go doesn’t mean giving up—it means releasing responsibility for things that were never yours to carry in the first place. When we stop fighting what’s out of our control, we create space for clarity, confidence, and intentional action.

And that’s often when opportunities start to appear.

CREATING YOUR OWN LUCK

WHAT OTHERS CALL “LUCK” IS OFTEN THE RESULT OF ALIGNED EFFORT, SELF-TRUST, AND RESILIENCE.

Begin creating your own luck by:

  • Showing up consistently.

  • Taking small, intentional steps.

  • Say no to what drains you and yes to what aligns with you.

  • Focus your energy where it matters.
